    Abramovitz was last seen on May 3, 2001 in Morristown, New Jersey. Abramovitz left a suicide note and prized possesions with a friend prior to his disappearance. Cell phone records traced Abramovitz to Burlington, Vermont but searches failed to turn up his whereabouts.
    Abramovitz graduated from college in 2000. He is a writer and painter and developed an interest in rock climbing while spending time in Colorado. He worked with seeing-eye dogs and, before he disappeared, quit his job and took all his money out of the bank.
