Details of Disappearance
Patrick was last seen on January 22, 2010, when he left to take out the trash at his home at Spring Creek Development in Starrett City, N.Y.
He may be in or near Brooklyn, New York.
Patrick Alford disappeared from a Brooklyn foster home where he had been temporarily placed by the city’s Administration For
Children’s Services following his remand to that agency by the Family Court.
The placement sprang from allegations that his mother, who had been arrested for shoplifting and is
struggling with a drug problem, neglected the child and his younger sister.
Patrick threatened several times to run away from his new home in order to find his biological mother.
Police believe Patrick may have run away and possibly come into harm's way.
