  • Details of Disappearance
    Johnny Babino was last seen leaving home in the 6600 block of Benedict Drive.

    A friend, Henry Giles, 27, said he dropped off Babino at the intersection of Glendella Street and U.S. 90 in Avondale July 9 about 10:30 p.m. Babino told Giles he was going to meet a friend.

    His girlfriend reported him missing July 10. Detectives suspect Babino might be the victim of foul play. Relatives have told investigators Babino might have been involved in drug activities and that he was carrying $16,000 when he disappeared.
