Vital Statistics at Time of Disappearance
Details of Disappearance
Gregory Bolin was last seen at about 1 a.m. March 1 by his sister who dropped him off at his cousinís residence in the 1500 block of Utah Ranch Road in Lavaca. Bolinís cousin told police he awoke around 1 a.m. March 1 when he heard a pickup engine.
Bolin had been staying with several different people in the area, including friends and relatives. He failed to show up for a painting job on March 2. He was reported missing March 4 by his girlfriend.
When authorities tracked Bolinís usage of his two cell phones, they learned that he last used them late on Feb. 28. His last call was to his girlfriend, from whom he had previously separated but remained in contact with.
His blue older-model Chevrolet pickup was found in Mudtown Bottoms in Lavaca with a flat tire. It had all his personal belongings in it. Gregory Bolin may be suicidal.
While authorities do not have any evidence to support foul play, the possibility has not been ruled out.
