  • Details of Disappearance
    Luther Boyt was last seen by friends when he left Buddie's Bar at 37th and Main Street in Kansas City on November 26th, 2000, at about 2:30am in his 1998 dark-green Infinity.

    His car was later located by his friends in Penn Valley Park, locked and unharmed, near the Liberty Memorial Park but there were no traces of Boyt.

    Police searched the park by foot and helicopter after his friends contacted them and once again on November 28th, after a missing person's report was filed, on foot with search dogs, but no further clues were found to Boyt's disappearance. Boyt was known to frequent homosexual establishments and areas.
