    • Details of Disappearance
    Brewer and her boyfriend, Nicholas Travis, disappeared the night of April 26-27, 1998. Around midnight, they left a Shawnee apartment occupied by Tabitha's father and stepmother. With Tabitha and Nick in the vehicle that night was Brandon Howell, who has been charged with two murders. He had come to drive them on an errand. Howell told authorities that he dropped Brewer and Travis off at the Circle K convenience store near 75th Street and Interstate 35.

    Travis and Brewer's identification and Brewer's purse, were discovered in a dumpster on the corner of 55th Street and Paseo Boulevard in Kansas City, Missouri, three days after they vanished. In August 1999, Travis's body was discovered buried in a back yard close to where the couple's belongings were located, but no signs of Brewer were found.

    Foul play is suspected in Brewer's disappearance due to the circumstances involved.
