  • Details of Disappearance
    Amy Bridgeman disappeared in June of 2013 and was last seen in a yard on Elm Street in Weldon. Residents told police she walked away, left her purse and was never seen again.

    The last time her family heard from her was June 28 around 6:55 a.m. It is known that she went out with friends and her husband received a text message from her. She was expected home soon, but never showed up and there has been no trace of her since.

    Bridgeman lives in the Roanoke Rapids-Weldon area as she has frequently moved between the two locations and could be in those locations.

    Amy’s husband, James, described her as family-oriented and loving. Amy has two children.
