  • Details of Disappearance
    Arlin Bynum was last seen in the vicinty of the San Franciscan Bar and Grill, located in downtown Big Spring. He was last
    seen around 1:45 a.m. According to witnesses he left the establishment in the company of an unidentified man. His truck
    remained parked near the bar. His brother filed a missing persons report the following day. He has not used his cell phone,
    which was turned off around 2 a.m., shortly after he was last seen. The cell phone hasn't been turned on since. He hasn't
    used his credit or debit cards or taken anything from his bank account since his disappearance. Foul play is suspected.

    In 2008, law enforcement officials searched property on Old Colorado City Highway for the remains of Arlin Bynum, and/or any
    evidence pertaining to his disappearance. The search was unsuccessful.

    A memorial service was held for Mr. Bynum in October 2008. He is described as a 'fun loving man who never met a stranger.'
    His case remains active.
