  • Details of Disappearance
The day before she was reported missing, Cassell went to work at what was then Boswell Memorial Hospital in Sun City. Her mother called that day and Cassell said she was too tired to chat after a 16-hour nursing shift. Her husband and 4-year-old son were reportedly on a camping trip at the time. On Jan. 4, Cassell's husband reported that she had not returned home. Other relatives reported her missing a month later. Family members told police there had been problems in Cassell's marriage but that she would not have abandoned her child. Police suspect foul play.
