Vital Statistics at Time of Disappearance
Details of Disappearance
Joliet Cedano was spending a day at the park with her foster mother on the afternoon of September 11, 2006 when she was abducted. Joliet was abducted by a Hispanic male who removed her from a vehicle on September 11, 2006, in Lake Los Angeles. Within hours, police had the male suspect in custody, only Joliet was still unaccounted for. She is now believed to be with her mother, Maria Ayala, and they are believed to be in a black 2000 Chevrolet pick up with California license plate 7D92423. Joliet had been taken from Ayala just after her birth because the infant was born addicted to narcotics.
An FBI Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution warrant was issued for Maria on July 17, 2007. They are believed to be in Mexico.
Abductor: Maria Ayala, circa 2006
