Joliet was abducted by a Hispanic male who removed her from a vehicle on September 11, 2006, in Lake Los Angeles. Within hours, police had the male suspect in custody, only Joliet was still unaccounted for. She is now believed to be with her mother, Maria Ayala, and they are believed to be in a black 2000 Chevrolet pick up with California license plate 7D92423.
