Details of Disappearance
Curry was last seen leaving her brother's house near the 3600 block of Bancroft Drive in Virginia Beach, Virginia at approximately 9:30 p.m. on November 11, 2000.
She said she was going to use a nearby pay phone. She told her brother, who had just moved into a nearby condo, that she was going to invite a friend over for pizza.
She never returned.
Just after she disappeared, police charged Curry with drug possession.
It could lead some to think Curry ran away, but her family and friends say that's not possible.
She was fighting to get her 9-month-old daughter back from social services, they said, and she never would have given up.
She may have traveled to the Miami, Florida area.
