Vital Statistics at Time of Disappearance
Details of Disappearance
Rachel Cyriacks was last seen the morning of November 13, 2013 and hasn't been seen or heard from since. She's from Woonsocket, but was last seen at her job at Performance Pet Products in Mitchell. Cyriacks was constantly communicating with people prior to her disappearance via text and other means, but hasn't been in contact with anybody since she was last seen. She often traveled to Huron, Mitchell and Sioux Falls.
Rachel was driving a gray, 1995 Chevrolet Silverado pickup. Her pickup truck was found in Huron in early January 2014, with a lot of damage to its undercarriage. Rachel's estranged husband is considered a person of interest. A protection order filed by Rachel Cyriacks in August alleged domestic abuse in the relationship and said the couple was in the middle of a divorce. Law enforcement has no evidence against him for his wife's disappearance.
She was reported as missing on December 16, 2013. Foul play is suspected.
South Dakota Highway Patrol, the state's Division of Criminal Investigation, Search and Rescue, the Game, Fish and Parks Department and neighboring law enforcement agencies have all assisted in the search.
