    Davis wandered away from the Magic Valley Manor nursing home in Wendell, Idaho on July 7, 2002. Davis had a history of wandering off.
    The family has sued the owners of the home. Magic Valley Manor records show that Davis wandered away from the facility a dozen times before he disappeared. Davis always returned or was easily found in each instance prior to his disappearance.

    He speaks of being a painter. He may be headed to California from Utah.
    Davis may be traveling to California by way of Utah.
    Davis has been declared legally dead.
