  • Distinguishing Characteristics: Davis was balding and had a
    thin moustache. He is clubfooted and has no teeth. He has very
    large fingers and a scar on his tongue.
  • Medical Conditions: Davis suffers from Downs Syndrome.
    He also has a heart condition and requires medication for it.
  • Clothing:Blue jeans, a dark gray pullover sweatshirt with
    an orange collar, blue and beige sneakers, blue socks, and
    possibly a blue baseball cap.

    • Details of Disappearance
    Davis had been visiting with relatives at a residence on State Line Road where he formerly lived. Sometime between 3:45 and 4:30 p.m., Davis may have left the residence to walk to a store - a common practice when he used to live at the residence. For a few months prior to his disappearance, Davis had been living at a new residence in the Taylor community near Gibsland, about 25 to 30 miles away.

    Davis was last seen standing beside the roadway near a heavily wooded area. Sheriff's personnel searched the woods and tracking dogs from Wade Correctional Center also were brought in but neither resulted in clues to Davis' whereabouts.

    Davis regularly took medication, but did not suffer from any serious ailments.
