  • Details of Disappearance
Ernest Deckert was reported missing with his son, David, on December 15, 2006. The 1997 Mercury Tracer David borrowed and the truck Ernest was driving were also missing. They were last heard from when Bob called a friend and said he was going to get physical therapy for work-related rotator cuff injury. The family found out a hold was put on their mail. The truck was later located abandoned in the woods near the Decker home, with blood evidence inside. Forensic testing proved that the blood came from Ernest Decker. The driver's side door was unlocked and keys in the ignition. Neither man has been seen since, and foul play is strongly suspected. A person of interest in this case is Randy Kedigh, who had written Bob a bad check. Witnesses saw Kedigh drive a red car like David's behind a shed. On Sept. 1, 2008, parts from David's car were found in the shed.
