    Doss was scheduled to meet an acquaintance named George and a chaplain for breakfast at the Denny's restaurant in Phoenix, Arizona on June 18, 1999.

    Her vehicle, a 1997 Dodge Dakota, was discovered abandoned in the parking lot of the Denny's restaurant near 51st Avenue and Indian School Road in Phoenix shortly after she disappeared. There was no sign of Doss at the scene.
