    • Details of Disappearance
    His mother last heard from him when he hung up the telephone to answer the door. No one has seen or heard from him since then. There were no signs of a struggle in his home. Investigators, along with family and friends, have searched the farm where Bill lived with his son Billy and sent divers to check out a nearby farm pond and later had it drained but it didn't bring them any closer to Douglas.
