Vital Statistics at Time of Disappearance
Details of Disappearance
Mr. Enslow was last seen in late July when he borrowed a family member's car, police said. The vehicle was found abandoned in a coffee field near Helemano Gulch on July 30, but the discovery was not reported by the property owner to police until October 2004. Family members reported Enslow missing Aug. 2, 2004, but police had few clues until the abandoned vehicle turned up. When police searched the vehicle, they recovered items that were reported stolen from a car at Ka'ena Point earlier on July 30. Extensive air and ground searches of the area were conducted by police, but there were no signs of Enslow. Police said they are concerned because portions of the gulch are 150 feet deep and Enslow may have fallen. Enslow also is being sought by police on four outstanding warrants totaling $11,250, and police said he may be hiding. He is wanted for contempt of court and probation revocation, police said. Foul play has not been ruled out.
