    • Details of Disappearance
    Eppler was last seen by his mother at approximately 2:00 PM on July 29, 1999 in their hometown of Naples, Florida. His 1988 Toyota Camry was discovered abandoned in Flamingo, Florida shortly after his disappearance. There was no sign of Eppler at the scene. His shirt was located in the Everglades National Park some time afterwards. An extensive search of the area produced no clues as to his whereabouts.
