Details of Disappearance
Bill was late seen on September 13, 2002 around 5:30-6 p.m.
His truck was found parked by Rocky Comfort Creek where he liked to fish.
In the creek and his boat anchored over a fallen log in the middle of the creek.
In the boat lay Bill's 4 rod/reels, his cricket cage full of crickets,
and a camouflage cap upside down on the boat.A search was made and it was reported to the sheriff's office. There was an aerial search, local divers, local hand-to-hand grid search using underwater cameras and metal detectors, professional dive teams, cadiver dog teams searches were conducted. Nothing was found.
In 1998-99 Bill told his siblings he had reported a marijuana find and Feb 10. 2002. Bill was attacked by two men at Rocky Comfort Creek gate entrance on with a stun gun.
The family believe that Bill met with foul play.
