    • Details of Disappearance
    Fentress attended a golf tournament in the Tidewater, Virginia area during early October 2001. He disappeared shortly afterwards.

    Fentress' 1988 four-door Oldsmobile was discovered abandoned in a wooded area of Hanover County, Virginia on October 7, 2001. There was no sign of Fentress at the scene.

    After his disappearance, his bank account and credit cards remained untouched. Family has asked the court to declare him dead.
