Details of Disappearance
Investigators believe foul play is involved in J.D.'s disappearance, as the investigation revealed that items were removed from his home within the timeframe that coincided
with his disappearance.
The house was in disarray when his housekeeper arrived at 10 a.m. the next morning.
Included in the items taken were two silver lamps. The lamps are described as a matching pair: identical sterling silver lamps about 3 feet high with ornate bases,
slender handles and white shades.
J.D. Ferguson was last seen on November 5, 2001 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
He was carrying a pillow and a radio while walking down the driveway to meet a waiting car driven by a man.
J.D. was believed to have been going to visit his wife who lived in a nursing home until her death on November 7, 2001. The timing of her death is coincidental.
