    Dione Fox went was last seen on September 1, 1996, and was reported missing when she didn't appear for a court hearing. There's been no activity on her social security number or accounts since. Her abandoned vehicle was discovered in Noel, Missouri eight months later, with her keys and purse still inside.

    Dione Fox had a young daughter and son when she disappeared. Records show Dione Fox and her husband Tony Fox divorced in November of 1993, the same year she got a permanent protective order against him. Records show Tony Fox was charged with violating the protective order and assault. He pleaded not guilty.

    She disappeared a couple of weeks later and the charges were later dropped when she didn't show up for court. Tony Fox said Dione told him she was going to her mother's home in Noel, Missouri.

    Investigators believe Fox is buried somewhere in the Tiawah area because it was the last place she was seen alive, after dropping off her daughter. There are no official suspects or persons of interest in this case.
