  • Details of Disappearance
    Steven last contacted his family in September 5, 2001. His mental health case worker and family members last recall seeing him in late August or early September of 2001.

    Approximately a month after Frick went missing his ’91 Eagle Summit sedan was found abandoned on Takilma Road in the Illinois Valley. The vehicle was processed for evidence but nothing was found.
    Steven was homeless and living in a shelter in Grants Pass. OR. He was known as a drifter.

    Frick’s roommate at a shelter he frequented indicated he was in a relationship with a woman that ended badly but police have never confirmed this information.
