Vital Statistics at Time of Disappearance
Details of Disappearance
Fry was last seen at her boyfriend's Greenwood home. The two had been partying at the Indianapolis apartment of Fry’s hair stylist the previous night. He told police he went to work and when he came home he thought she'd left for her sister's in Fort Wayne. She never got there. One of Fry’s older sisters reported Fry missing November 18, 1993, four days after she failed to arrive in Fort Wayne.
Her vehicle is also missing and is described as a red 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse with personalized Lic# LOLA.
Several years after her disappearance, two of the people who had partied with Fry the night before she went missing, significantly changed their story. They told ISP First Sgt. Stoney Vann that Fry had some kind of “medical emergency” at the apartment near Binford Boulevard and 62nd Street, fell unconscious and was carried to her boyfriend’s car. However, the boyfriend stayed with the original version. Two of the people at the gathering said no one checked to make sure Fry was alive. Drugs and alcohol were part of the evening, and Fry might have had some kind of serious, or even fatal, mixture.
Over the years, investigators have dug in several locations and checked several bodies of water based on leads on where Fry or her car might be. Nothing was found.
