  • Details of Disappearance
Esther Gesler disappeared after leaving to study for a college test. Around noon she told her husband and kids she was going to rent a hotel room to study for an upcoming exam. She took the family car and said she'd be back the next day. She was never heard from again.

Phone records later showed that one of the last calls Gesler made was to her ex-husband, Glenn Allan Bagley of Port Townshend. Gesler left behind five children. Her disappearance ended Bagley's financial obligation to her. She is missing under suspicious circumstances, foul play suspected.

Bagley also had a romantic relationship with 23-year-old Althea Blankenship, who rented a room for herself and her 4-year-old son, Jeffrey, from Bagley at the time of their disappearance in 1973.
