    • Details of Disappearance
    Cheryl disappeared from Aurora Ontario on May 31, 1974. Cheryl left her home on Bloomington Road, near the Blue Hills Academy at 6:30 pm for a 10 minute walk to her cousin's house, also located on Bloomington Road for a sleepover. She never arrived
    Thousands of volunteers, including police, CB radio operators, aircraft and Queen's York militia units, scoured the region for weeks in an unprecedented search of York Region. No signs of Cheryl or her belongings were found.
