    Georgeanne Hawkins was last seen at the University of Washington campus on June 11, 1974. She was a student on TV journalism at the time. Her family home was in Tacoma, WA.

    Hawkins was headed back to her sorority house to study for her Spanish final the next day. She stopped at her boyfriendís dorm and talked to him through an open window for a few minutes before continuing down a brightly lit alley. She never made it to the sorority.

    Georgann was doing well in her classes, had healthy relationships and no reason to run away. Georgannís was the sixth disappearance in the region since January 1 ó five in Washington.

    Days before he was executed in January 1989, serial killer Ted Bundy recounted in taped interviews how he killed the University of Washington freshman. It was one of 30 homicides in seven states tied to Bundy.
