Deborah Heriford went missing on 03/31/2011. She was last seen walking her dog in the area near Vickers and Union. She was reported missing on 04/03/2011 by her husband after her daughters started looking for her because no one had seen her in 3 days and she failed to show up for work as a crossing guard at Discovery Canyon Elementary School. Her dog was found running loose at a nearby business. Her keys and cell phone were all that her family believed was missing from her house in the 2700 block of Maroon Bells Avenue in north Colorado Springs. There were no signs of forced entry. Deborah and her husband had separated in July 2010 and their divorce was set to be finalized in May 2011. Foul play is suspected. Debbie’s disappearance has been ruled a homicide. Police have yet to name any suspects and continue to ask for the public’s help.
