    vein removal. Full dentures. Glasses that have photo grey lenses.
  • Clothing: Tan Naugahyde jacket, green shirt with picture of a
    lady on the front, white pants, white shoes and pantyhose.
  • Jewelry: A Timex watch with a white metal extension band and
    a blue face and sterling silver earrings, and a white gold wedding
    ring set, which included an engagement ring with five embedded stones
    and a wedding band with six embedded stones; the total weight of the
    set is one karat.

  • Details of Disappearance
    Essie worked as a waitress and a bartender at the “Card Room” in Oroville in 1978. She was last seen leaving work at Rusty Jacks bar on the morning of 02-13-1978 at approximately 0200 hours. Essie was en route home where she lived in the Honcut area. Essie was driving her brown 1975 Oldsmobile Tornado. Essie didn’t make it home and hasn’t been heard or seen from since.

    Essie’s vehicle was located wrecked in a ditch on Palermo-Honcut Rd a short distance from her house on 02-13-1978. Her personal belongings and clothing were located outside of her vehicle on the ground. Essie was not located at the scene of the accident and is still missing. Foul play is suspected.
