Details of Disappearance
Heather Higgins left her apartment at 10th Avenue and Cherry Street on Spokaneís lower South Hill with a known man and never returned. This acquaintance reportedly said he dropped her back off at home, but she hasnít been seen since. She left her cats, car, wallet, and everything she owned. Her apartment was undisturbed, and her cellphone and bank account havenít been accessed since that day.
Higgins had plans to move to a new apartment and was enrolled in school for the fall. She was studying to be a journalist at Eastern Washington University. She had recently been hospitalized at Sacred Heart Medical Center for her bipolar disorder. While she was there, her apartment had been burglarized.
