  • Details of Disappearance
    Mr. Jenkins, a U.S. Army veteran, was reported missing from his residence at the Britthaven Assisted Living Facility on Western Boulevard on March 12, 2006.

    He was last seen during the evening near Sherwood Avenue and indicated he was heading to a house down the street. His Social Security card & dialysis bag were found not far from his last seen location.
    He has not been seen ot heard from since.

    The authorities have led numerous searches of the local area to include ponds & lakes, and have flagged his name at VA and other hospitals along the east coast. Mr. Jenkins has family/friends in the Rocky Mount & Fayetteville areas of North Carolina, and also in Virginia. Foul play has not been ruled out in his case.

    A skull x-ray and partial dentals are available, and mtDNA has been submitted for testing at a North Texas facility.
