    • Details of Disappearance
    Jones was last seen by his wife at 5:30 a.m. on March 19, 2002 at their residence in the vicinity of the 1100 block of Hodges Street in Nathalie, Virginia. He had been drinking alcohol and apparently had a reaction from the mixture of alcohol and his prescription painkillers. Jones left his residence and did not return. Later, his wife found his van parked at the end of Hodges Street, a dead-end state-maintained road about a mile long. The van was parked at the end of street near some dumpsters. Tracker dogs were unable to pick up Jones's scent.
