  • Details of Disappearance
Pamela Jones, an Apache Junction mother of four, was last known to be with her husband, Jack Setters AKA Ken Jones. She left Apache Junction at 1:30 a.m. and drove to Tempe to pick up Ken Jones from work. He returned home without her.

Ken Jones reported to family that the two of them had been in a verbal argument and that Pamela exited the car on foot in a desert area near Usery Pass and McKellips Road in Mesa, and refused to get back in the car. He told the family he and Pamela had argued about how long it took her to pick him up.

According to her daughter, her stepfather and grandmother then got back in the car and drove to the site where Pamela had gotten out of the car. She said they drove 2 miles in all directions but could not find Pamela. Ken Jones reported her missing the next day.

Pamela has not been heard from since that occurrence. Deputies questioned Ken Jones multiple times but he never veered from his original statements about his wife’s disappearance. The investigators who handled the case considered Mr. Jones the main suspect. He died in 2012, taking any information about the case with him.
