Vital Statistics at Time of Disappearance
Details of Disappearance
Orlando Jordan has been missing since roughly August 19th of 2008. His sister talked every afternoon with her younger brother. She couldn’t reach him, for the first time, on Aug. 19. Jordan, who is single and has no children, was on vacation from his job of 13 years when he disappeared. He failed to report to work as a a package handler for United Parcel Service the following week. He also failed to return home to care for his two dogs.
His vehicle was found abandoned in an apartment complex parking lot, off Clairmont Road, in north DeKalb County, after police activated its LoJack system. According to family he would never walk away from his family, his job or his house with no warning, nor leave the dogs without any care. Police consider his disappearance “suspicious.”
