  • Details of Disappearance
Erik Lamberg left his family in Hermosa Beach on May 23, 2013 to travel to Oregon. Lamberg had phoned family members that he was having vehicle problems on May 26. Erik had his vehicle, a silver 2004 Honda Odyssey, towed to Laytonville when it broke down in Leggett. He had the vehicle repaired and stayed two nights at a local hotel in Laytonville at which time he phoned his family and said he was fine. The family has not seen or heard from Erik since.

Erik has not been seen since May 28, 2013, when he checked out of the hotel in Laytonville.

His vehicle was found abandoned in Northern California on June 1. Itwas found stuck in the mud on a wilderness road, Sherwood Road, in Mendocino County.

Despite several searches, authorities have been unable to locate the missing computer security technician. A Marin Search and Rescue Team's dogs picked up on a scent near the Skunk Train tracks in August 2013, but were unable to find him. His credit cards haven't been used and his bank account is untouched.
