    a degenerative disease that caused his muscles to sometimes freeze and
    paralyze his body wherever the episode hit him. He also suffered from
    brief periods of memory loss and disorientation.

  • Details of Disappearance
    Paul was last seen at approximately 2:00pm at his residence near N. Azalea in Covington, Louisiana. He was last seen leaving his residence to go for a bike ride but never returned. His older 10-speed mountain bike has not been found.

    Police searched the area surrounding his Flower Estates home in Covington by foot and with blood hounds twice, used helicopters on two days, zig-zagged through the woods on four wheelers and dragged the bottom of the Tchefuncte River in search of the body.
