  • Details of Disappearance
Diana Leone was last seen sometime in February 2000 but wasn't reported as missing until October after family members realized nobody had seen her or heard from her for months. During their investigation police discovered that Leone had been a victim of domestic abuse during a 14-year relationship with her live-in boyfriend, David Morgan.

Morgan was charged with attempted murder and accused of severely beating Leone in 1989, but the charges were dropped after she refused to testify. Police also arrested Morgan on domestic violence charges in March 1999.
In November 2000, Leone's daughter told police she had not seen her mother in a long time and remembered that right before the last time she saw her mother, there was a fight between her parents who were arguing over David Morgan's belief that Diana was having an extramarital affair. Her son said his father told him that Leone ran off with another man. Police later determined the man had nothing to do with her disappearance.
Morgan was suspected and investigated but never charged in connection with the 1980 disappearance of his wife, Marie Morgan. Gabriel Vincent, who rented property from Morgan, went missing near the end of 1979. In February 1980, Morgan's wife, Marie, vanished. There was talk that Vincent and Marie Morgan had been having an affair.
Diana Leone's case remains unsolved and charges have not been filed against anyone in connection with her disappearance.
