Details of Disappearance
Helen Leyden was last heard from by her family sometime between 1968 and 1972.
She was living in Edmonton, but is thought to have possibly gone to Vancouver during this time. She is a mother of four from the Mikisew Cree Nation in northern Alberta. She hasnít been in contact with anyone since roughly 1971.
Her daughters, who were raised by their father, recently started searching for her. RCMP in Vancouver and Edmonton started reviewing her case in October 2014.
