Details of Disappearance
Tim left his apartment in the morning of Septmber 14, 2009 . Tim may have been upset about his health problems. He is an avid walker, but has always returned on time. He usually walks alone and is a self professed trail blazer, and will often travel off marked trails. He has been known to frequent the following areas: - The Memorial Park Area , the Welland Recreational Canal , . He is friendly and pleasant but may avoid people as he is somewhat of a loner.
He has no bank cards or credit cards. He has photo identification with him. He does not have a cell phone Tim carries nitroglycerine spray in his upper shirt pocket for his heart problems, also carries nasal spray. Tim has no friends in the area and associates with no known person in the apartment building. He is unemployed. He has no known places he frequents. He has no known history of any psychological problems and has not discussed suicide or hurting himself in the past. He knows the area well and has had prior experience with camping and first aid training.
Police searched the apartment, the building stairwells, and the underground parking within the building. Tim has no access to the roof. Officers searched the fields using trained dogs around Memorial Park and near the Train bridge near Ontario Road and PCD. The Mounted Unit searched the Eastside of the Old Welland Canal from Townline Road South through Dain City but there has been no sign of Tim Mason
