Details of Disappearance
Chase Massner was last seen leaving a friend's home on March 27, 2014 in Keenesaw, Georgia.
He was reported missing by his wife, Amanda, and his mother on March 28, sparking an investigation with the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office. The case later was transferred to Cobb Police because he was last seen in its jurisdiction.
The Woodstock High School graduate and Cherokee County resident reportedly was last seen near Hawkins Store Road and Bells Ferry Road before disappearing. The friend said he picked Massner up at his job, a QT store in Kennesaw and took him to his home. He says he fell asleep and when he woke up, Massner was gone. He told police that the husband and father of two left his house walking and never returned.
Massner had served a tour in Iraq and his wife Amanda says he had been struggling to adjust to civilian life.
Massner’s disappearance is classified as suspicious.
