  • Details of Disappearance
Marlana went missing from a rented house in the 900 block of West Missouri she shared with her two young children and
    their father.

There has been no activity on her credit cards since September 12, 2010, and her car was found abandoned
near South Cardinal Avenue and West Valencia Road on the southwest side of Tucson near the Tohono O'odham Nation. The keys were still in the ignition and Marlana's work ID was left inside. She did have some domestic issues at home. McElvaine's boyfriend was arrested on suspicion of unrelated crimes a month after she disappeared. According to family members, it is highly unusual for McElvaine, a mother of two young children, to be absent without communicating with her family. Foul play is suspected.
