  • Details of Disappearance
Relatives of Latisha Milliken have not heard from her since the last week of February, 2007. Milliken's mother says she has never gone this long without at least a phone call, no matter how badly she was doing. Milliken is involved in drugs and prostitution. She was homeless at the time and lived in "Tent City", a homeless encampment located near downtown.

Family members say she lived on the street and routinely picked up truck drivers at the Travel Centers of America truck stop to support a crack cocaine habit. It is the same truck stop where police recently arrested a suspected Serial Killer, Bruce Mendenhall and found the body of one of his alleged victims in June, 2007. The family fears Milliken could be one of his victims.

Milliken is one of two missing women police say picked up truck drivers near the TA truck stop. Tanya Estep, also known as Tanya Robbins, has been missing since August. Estep worked the truck stop and Dickerson Road. Milliken has a four year old son.

Metro police confirmed they found a match between Latisha Milliken's DNA and blood found in the cab of Bruce Mendenhall's truck. Mendenhall has since been charged with killing three other women, one in Lebanon, one in Indianapolis and one in Birmingham. He also remains a suspect in at least two other murders in Indiana and Georgia.
