Details of Disappearance
Debora Gail Deloach Moody was last seen at her residence in Ludowici, Long County, Georgia on Tuesday, December 4, 2007,
at approximately 6:00 p.m.
on Tuesday, December 4, 2007, Debora left work and drove to a friend's house.
Together they drove out to the trailer to drop off a few items.
Debora's friend left around 6 p.m., and everything seemed to be fine.
Police say this is the last time anyone has seen Debora. Debora didn't report for work the rest of the week.
Her family discovered she was missing and reported it to the authorities on December 10, 2007.
They found her car in the driveway, her purse in the trailer, her dogs in the yard, but no sign of Debora. Police say there was no obvious indication of a struggle, and nothing to suggest foul play.
A search of the nearby farm land by police yielded nothing.
More than 3 years after she disappeared, a friend and neighbor of Debora's was murdered by a man doing work at her home. This lead to renewed search efforts but investigators did not find anything.
