Vital Statistics at Time of Disappearance
Details of Disappearance
Mr. Moses went missing the morning of June 16th from his home near the small Northampton County community of Rehoboth. He was last seen at his home by a farm worker. Investigation was initially started due to a house fire at this address, where Mr. Moses was discovered missing. The disappearance and house fire are not considered as related incidents. A State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) arson specialist summoned to scene came to the conclusion that faulty wiring in an air conditioning unit was the cause of the blaze.
Both of his vehicles and motorcycles were still parked in the driveway.
According to family, Daniel wouldn’t go anywhere without telling his mother, who lives right next door. She was out of town the day of the fire. Moses had moved back to Northampton County after living for a while in New Jersey and later in Rocky Mount. He is described as a simple man who had worked hard to buy his grandfather’s home. After hurting his back, he began selling his barbecued meats to dedicated clients. His family believe foul play was involved in his disappearance.
