    Sara was last seen on January 12, 2009 in Laguna Niguel. There were no signs of foul play, though Mowrey left her walker, medication and her purse in her Laguna Niguel home. Officers searched for Mowrey's body in a landfill and interviewed friends and acquaintances at the time.
    She was reported as missing on January 13, 2009, by her son.
