  • Details of Disappearance
Juanita was last seen August 1, 2008. Mullins lived with her son on South 33rd in Abilene. The family was known to keet to themselves. When neighbors noticed the mail piling up, as well as a strong odor coming from their house they contacted authorities. Police found the son, a hoarder, dead of natural causes. When her other son was notified of his brother's death he came back to take care of his mother. That's when police realized no one knew where Juanita Mullins was. Some neighbors heard she was in a nursing home in Big Spring; some were told one in San Antonio. Officials say there's no record of her at either location.
