  • Details of Disappearance
Vicki Nisbett has been missing since December 14, 1991. She was last seen in Cedar Park on her way to a Christmas party. Her estranged husband, Rex Nisbett, reported her missing two days later, but her family said it was highly unusual for her to leave, especially without her three young children. In 1992, detectives investigated the Williamson County apartment where Vicki and Rex both lived, though they were in the process of a divorce. Detectives found blood in the bedroom that appeared to have been wiped up. Her vehicle was recovered on February 8, 1992, in a parking lot off Mopac Boulevard.

53-year-old Rex Allen Nisbett was sentenced in the murder of his wife Vicki Nisbett. He must serve just over 10 years of that term before becoming eligible for parole, and he will receive credit for the 16 months he has spent in jail before the trial.
