    Parker was last seen in Redondo Beach, California on December 1, 1999. She disappeared under suspicious circumstances. Parker led a transient lifestyle and worked as a prostitute in 1999. However, she had always kept in touch with family and friends.

    In November 2003, Thomas Freeman was convicted of second-degree murder in the death of Parker. Her blood was found on Freeman's mattress and under the carpet in his room. Freeman was known to be having a relationship with Parker at the time of her disappearance. It is believed that Freeman killed Parker sometime between Dec. 25 and Dec. 27, 1999, in his apartment's bedroom.
