  • Details of Disappearance
Stacy Pennant was last seen on February 9, 1995 in Canarsie, Brooklyn driving a 1990 blue Honda Civic with New York license plates E478RT.

The night she went missing, Pennant went out on a date with a co-worker from Delta who lived in Canarsie. She picked him up at his Canarsie home to see the movie "Higher Learning" at a Valley Stream mall. At 11 o'clock that night, she dropped him off on East 85th Street between Avenue M and Avenue N. The friend remembers her being in great spirits that night despite a recent break-up with a boyfriend. She was happy about her new car, a 1990 blue Honda Civic that she had purchased on Long Island and decorated with stuffed animals in the back window.

She said she had to return home to finish her homework; and he gave her directions back to the Belt Parkway which should've taken her home. Pennant lived with her mother in 231-19 126th Avenue in Laurelton, Queens. Her car has not been found.

Pennant was a business student at Queensboro Community College at the time and worked a graveyard shift at Delta Airlines. She was a straight A student who didn't drink or smoke, and liked to eat healthy foods. She grew up in Jamaica and moved to New York in 1992.
